I think sexual assault awareness needs to be heavily focused on those statistically most likely to commit sexual assaults in high school and on college campuses. In athletics and fraternities, there is a culture of sexual assault. To break this down, these groups need to be specifically targeted.
Laura Dunn founded SurvJustice after tragedy, struggle, and eventual triumph over an experience with campus sexual violence. The organization’s mission statement is to “increase the prospect of justice for all survivors of sexual violence through legal assistance, policy advocacy, and institutional training.” It is a non-profit organization that is funded by donations. I would say it gets mostly positive press, being referenced mostly in articles that report on sexual assault and are telling a victim’s story.
